This policy explains what information Scripter360 collects, why we collect it, who helps us handle it, and the choices you have. It covers the website scripter360.com, the account pages at account.scripter360.com, the Scripter360 desktop app for Mac and Windows, and the Scripter360 phone and tablet apps for iPhone, iPad and Android.
The short version
- Your writing stays with you. Scripter360 keeps your projects on your computer or phone, or in your own cloud storage (such as iCloud Drive, Google Drive or Dropbox). We do not store your writing on our servers.
- The one exception is Review with AI. When you choose to review text with Scripter360 AI, that text is sent through our server to our AI provider to create the review. We do not keep the text or the reply.
- We collect only what we need to run your account, your plan, support and the app itself.
- We never sell your personal information, and we don't show advertising inside the apps.
- You can delete your account at any time from inside the app.
1. Who we are
Scripter360 is made by Cre8v.ai LLC, a Wyoming limited liability company based in the United States ("Cre8v.ai", "we", "us"). Cre8v.ai is responsible for the personal information described in this policy.

2. Your writing
Scripter360 is a local-first app. Your projects, documents, notes, images and settings are saved in files on your own device, or in a cloud folder you choose, such as iCloud Drive, Google Drive or Dropbox. When you use your own cloud storage, that service's own privacy policy applies to the files you keep there. Scripter360 does not upload your writing to our servers, and your account does not contain your writing. If you delete your Scripter360 account, the files on your devices are not touched.
Text leaves your device only when you ask for it to, for example when you use Review with AI (section 4), export a file, or share it yourself.
3. What we collect and why
Your account
You can sign in with Apple, Google or an email address and password. We keep your email address, your first and last name (taken from Apple or Google if you use them, and changeable in the app), the sign-in method, and when the account was created and last used. We need a verified email address before an account can be used, so we send you a verification email. Passwords are handled by Google Firebase Authentication; we never see them. On the desktop app, your sign-in is kept encrypted on your computer using its secure system storage.
Your plan and payments
We keep your plan (trial, Standard or Standard + AI), whether it is monthly or yearly, when it renews or ends, your AI credit balance, and any discount or promotional code you used. To make sure each person uses a code only once, we keep a scrambled code (a "hash") made from your email address with the code record.
- On the website, payments are handled by Paddle (Paddle.com), which acts as the merchant of record. Paddle collects your name, email, billing address and payment details under its own privacy policy. We do not receive or store your full card number. Paddle tells us what you bought, the amounts, and your subscription status.
- In the phone apps, purchases go through the Apple App Store or Google Play. Apple or Google handle the payment, and tell us only what was bought and whether the subscription is active.
No other company sits between us and Paddle, Apple or Google for payments: our own server keeps your plan in step across the website and the phone apps.
Your devices and licence
Each account can be signed in on up to 3 devices at the same time — computers, phones and tablets together. To manage this we keep a list of your signed-in devices: a random device ID, a device name and type (for example "MacBook Air, Mac"), and when it was last used. You can see and sign out devices in the app under Settings → Account → Devices on a computer, or Profile → Devices on a phone. The app also stores a small signed licence on your device so it can keep working offline.
Anonymous usage counts
The desktop app has a setting called Share anonymous usage counts (Settings → Account). It is on by default and you can turn it off at any time. While it is on:
- When you are signed in, the app sends once a day how many projects of each type you have, Mac or Windows, the app version, the interface language and whether you use AI. Never names, titles or writing. These numbers are kept with your account.
- The app uses a random ID for your computer (not linked to your account) to count how many computers use each version and language.
- If the app runs into an error, it sends a bug report: the error message, where in the app's code it happened, the app version and Mac or Windows. Before saving, our server removes personal parts such as your user folder name and email addresses. Bug reports never contain your writing.
When the free trial checks whether you have been actively writing (for a possible trial extension), the app counts this on your device and sends only the count, not the words.
Update checks
The desktop app checks a few times a day whether a newer version is available. This check sends the app version and Mac or Windows. Like any internet request, it reveals your IP address to our servers; we don't store it with the check.
Support requests and ratings
If you contact support from the app or by email, we keep your name, email address, your messages and our replies, and the app version and Mac or Windows if sent from the app. If you rate Scripter360 in the app, we keep your star rating, any comment you write, your name, email address and app version. You can delete these by deleting your account, or by asking us.
Early-access list and emails
If you join the early-access list on scripter360.com, we keep your email address, the website language you used, the date and, if you arrived through one of our campaign links, the name of that campaign. To stop automated sign-ups we briefly keep a scrambled code made from your connection, which cannot be turned back into your address and is deleted within two days. We use the list only to tell you about Scripter360, and you can leave it at any time.
We send account emails (verification, password, plan and receipt-related messages, account deletion) and, for AI credit packs, reminders 30 and 7 days before credits expire. We may also send occasional news about Scripter360; you can opt out of news at any time.
The website and campaign links
scripter360.com does not use advertising or tracking cookies, and has no third-party analytics. If you arrive through a Scripter360 campaign link (scripter360.com/go/…), one small first-party cookie named __session remembers the campaign name for up to 30 days. It contains no personal information. We use it to count downloads and new accounts per campaign, so we know which links work. When you download the app, we count the download by day, platform and campaign; we do not store who downloaded it. Our hosting and download providers (Google Firebase and Cloudflare) process technical information such as IP addresses to deliver pages and files and to protect against abuse.
The phone and tablet apps
- Install measurement. The Android app uses Google Analytics for Firebase, linked to Google Ads, to measure which of our ads lead to installs and in-app sign-ups or purchases. It collects app events (such as first open, sign-up and purchase), the device model, operating system, app version, country and a Firebase app instance ID. The iPhone app does not do this.
- No cross-app tracking. We do not track you across other companies' apps or websites. The iPhone and iPad app does not use Apple's advertising identifier (IDFA), so it does not show the "Allow tracking" prompt. The Android app does not collect the Android advertising ID; install sources come from Google Play's install referrer.
- Notifications. Push notifications are optional. If you allow them, we use Firebase Cloud Messaging, which gives your device a token so we can send notifications to it. You can turn notifications off in your device settings.
- Crash and bug reports are anonymised in the same way as on desktop and never contain your writing.
4. Review with AI
Review with AI is optional and runs only when you start it. There are two ways to use it:
- Scripter360 AI (included in Standard + AI, in the trial, and with AI credit packs). The app sends the text you chose to review (up to about 2,000 words at a time), the document title and the review options you picked to our server. Our server sends them to our AI provider, gets the review back and returns it to you. Our AI provider is currently OpenAI. We send requests to OpenAI with storage turned off, and under OpenAI's business terms, data sent through its API is not used to train its models. OpenAI may keep requests for a limited time (currently up to 30 days) to detect abuse, and then deletes them. We do not store the text you send or the review you get back. We keep only counts: the number of words, credits used, the AI model, the size of the request and the cost, so we can run your credit balance and our billing. If we change our AI provider (for example to Anthropic or Google), we will update this policy first.
- Your own AI key (in Settings → AI). If you add your own key from OpenAI, Anthropic or Google, the app sends your text directly from your device to that company, under your own agreement with them. Your key stays on your device, and the text does not pass through Scripter360's servers.
Please don't send text to Review with AI that you are not allowed to share, or that contains sensitive personal information about other people.
5. How we use information
- To provide Scripter360: your account, sign-in, plan, devices, licence, AI reviews and updates.
- To take payments through Paddle, Apple and Google, and to apply discounts and AI credits.
- To answer support requests and send account emails.
- To fix bugs, keep the service secure, and stop fraud and abuse.
- To understand, in total, how Scripter360 is used and which of our campaigns and ads work, so we can improve the app and our marketing.
- To follow the law, for example tax and accounting records.
If you are in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom or Switzerland, our legal bases are: performing our contract with you (account, plan, AI reviews, support); our legitimate interests (security, bug fixing, anonymous usage counts, measuring our campaigns, which you can object to); your consent where the law requires it (for example push notifications and marketing emails); and legal obligations (records).
6. Who we share information with
We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with companies that help us run Scripter360 ("service providers"), who may use it only to provide their service to us, and when the law requires it:
- Google (Firebase and Google Cloud): hosting, sign-in, our database and server functions, Firebase Cloud Messaging in the phone apps, and Google Analytics for Firebase with Google Ads for install measurement in the Android app.
- OpenAI: processing Review with AI requests made with Scripter360 AI (section 4).
- Paddle: website payments, as merchant of record.
- Apple and Google Play: sign-in with Apple or Google, and in-app purchases.
- Twilio SendGrid: sending our emails.
- Cloudflare: our domain and app downloads.
- Microsoft: our support@scripter360.com mailbox.
We may also share information if the law requires it, to protect people's safety or our rights, or as part of a merger or sale of the business, in which case this policy will continue to apply to your information.
Your privacy choices. We do not sell your personal information. The Android app shares anonymous install and usage measurements with Google (Firebase Analytics, linked to Google Ads) so we can tell which of our ads work; the iPhone app does not. You can stop this at any time: turn off Share anonymous usage counts in Settings, and the app stops sending these measurements, error reports and usage counts. California residents can use this setting to opt out of "sharing" under California law, or write to support@scripter360.com.
7. How long we keep information
- Account, plan and device information: while your account exists. When you delete your account, we delete it, except records we must keep by law.
- Payment and tax records: as long as the law requires (often up to 7 years). Paddle, Apple and Google keep their own records.
- Support requests and ratings: until they are no longer needed, or until you delete your account.
- AI usage counts: kept as totals for our billing and costs; never the text.
- Bug reports and anonymous install counts: until they are no longer useful to us; they are not linked to your account.
- Early-access list: until you leave the list or the early-access period ends.
- Anti-abuse codes made from your connection: deleted within two days.
8. Your choices and rights
- Delete your account in the app (on a computer: Settings → Account → Delete account; on a phone: ☰ → Profile → Delete Account). This removes your sign-in, profile, personal billing account, support requests, ratings and saved promo use. Your writing on your devices is not affected. A paid subscription through Apple or Google must also be cancelled with Apple or Google.
- Turn off anonymous usage counts in Settings → Account, and push notifications in your device settings.
- Stop marketing emails with the unsubscribe link or by emailing us. Account emails continue while you have an account.
- Ask us to see, correct, delete or receive a copy of your personal information, or to object to or limit how we use it, by writing to support@scripter360.com. We will answer within the time the law allows (usually one month) and may need to confirm it is really you.
Depending on where you live, for example in California, other US states, the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, you may have these rights by law. We will not treat you differently for using them. If you are in the EEA or UK, you may also complain to your local data protection authority.
9. Where information is stored
Our servers are run by Google Cloud in the United States. If you live outside the United States, your information will be transferred to and processed in the United States. Where the law requires it, we rely on safeguards such as the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses, which our service providers offer.
10. Security
We protect information with encryption in transit, restricted access for our team, and secure storage for keys and secrets. Your sign-in on desktop is kept encrypted on your computer. No system is perfectly secure, so please use a strong password and keep your own backups of your writing.
11. Children
Scripter360 is not meant for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. In some countries the minimum age is higher (for example 16 in parts of the EU) unless a parent agrees. If you believe a child has given us personal information, please contact us and we will delete it.
12. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as Scripter360 changes. We will change the "Last updated" date above and, for important changes, tell you in the app or by email before they take effect.
